We are excited to welcome Karis Kemp, Sean Martin, and Mark Mueller to the PCBW staff, who starting on December 31, will be joining together to provide worship and music leadership here at PCBW on Sunday mornings. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin this new ministry with us.
Familiar with the valley, the Mueller’s are excited to be back in Idaho. They married in 2011 and spent their first five years of marriage in Hailey. A Wisconsin native, Tracy graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a degree in Theology. She gained experience working with kids, youth, and families as a Program Director focusing on Summer Camp and Outdoor Education at Camp Omega, Minnesota. This led her to a position in the Sawtooth Mountains as the Director of Programs at Camp Perkins Lutheran Outdoor Ministries.
Sarah Jones was born and raised in Westminster, CO. She attended Lutheran schools from pre-school through college, which is where she came to have a personal relationship with Christ and desired to pursue a life lived for Him.
The community of Nyakapela B, Zambia, was home to 25 families. Although it was a small community, they did have a local health clinic to provide for the residents’ medical needs and a local church to address the spiritual needs of the community. One essential item that the community was lacking was safe water. The existing well in Nyakapela B had fallen into disrepair, and residents had resorted to using a local stream for their water needs.
Children’s Ministry Volunteers for a Fabulous School Year! It takes an entire team to keep PCBW Sunday school, Nursery, Wow & Family ministries going. Please take time to thank these individuals for offering their time, energy and love to children and families all throughout the year.
4th-6th Graders had a fun-filled year with fun, cool events. The school year started with ice blocking and ice cream and ended with a daylong adventure trip to Wahooz In Boise. In between was bowling, pizza, sledding and wacky gym games.

Trent has accepted the Director of Music and Worship position at the Presbyterian Church of the Big Wood on Saddle Road in Ketchum.
Songs and singing are not just important in the Wood River Valley, but are a very important part of the Bible as well, which is why this summer we are going to be studying together the Bibles songbook - the book of Psalms - a fancy biblical name for song.
