Morning programs are provided for 2 yr. olds,
3 yr. olds, and pre-kindergarten. The
kindergarten program is full time. Children are
involved in small groups which focus on the use
of manipulative and experiential learning for
concept and physical development. Social and
emotional skills are promoted through the
development of life skills and manners, loving
mentoring relationships with Christian teachers,
supervised play, and the use of the Positive
Discipline program (Jane Nelsen, et al) –
providing positive choices, developing respect for
each other, using natural and logical
consequences, developing problem solving
abilities, and the use of class meetings.
Communication with parents is provided both
formally and informally to parents through
conferences and newsletters. Children’s church
is held daily before lunch and involves a variety of
ways to experience God’s great love – music,
video, and station activities.
