Dear Church of the Big Wood Family, 

Here’s the latest update from your Pastor Nominating Committee regarding our search for Church of the Big Wood’s new pastor.

After keeping the job posting open for four months and receiving 14 applications, we have closed the application process and will be meeting as a committee during March with the goal of narrowing the candidate list to the top 2-3.  This will be followed by remote interviews with each, with the hopes of bringing the top candidate and their spouse (or possibly top 2) to the church and valley for in-person interviews during April/May.

Our goal is to have a new pastor in place by the end of the summer or early Fall.
