The work of caring is the responsibility of the entire congregation. However, we have several ministries that facilitate our sense of community and caring.
Ketchum Community Dinners
Usually October - May, Free meals will be served on Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. All are welcome. If you are interested in being part of one of the teams, please call Beth Ward at 208.869.7911 for more information.
These ‘heavenly hostesses and hosts’ provide the refreshments after each of our worship services on Sundays. In addition, they coordinate the all church picnic, our Christmas Hanging of the Greens and Chili Supper, and other special events as the need arises.
Four times each year, a group gathers in our restaurant quality kitchen to prepare meals for the congregation when emergencies arise. This ministry puts food in the freezer that can be picked up at any time, providing delicious meals for individuals and families who have welcomed a new baby or faced a medical emergency.
One of the most important ways we can support one another is through the ministry of prayer. Our prayer chain is a twenty-four hour ministry of intercession for every kind of need and request. Your request or participation is welcome.

The Agape Fund
Four times each year, the congregation gives a special offering to meet the physical and financial needs of church members and people from the community facing financial hardship. The funds pay rent, bills, purchase lodging, provide a brake job for a car or food for a family. The ministry of this fund is overseen by two members of the congregation who meet personally with each person requesting assistance. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com if you need help.
If You Need Help
The Agape Fund
The Agape Fund is a fund that is set aside through gifts of the congregation to assist members and non-members alike with short-term, one-time, financial assistance. Two members of our congregation oversee the administration of this fund on a confidential basis. We do not provide any monies directly to individuals, but rather provide resources, to help with bills, repairs, food, etc. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com regarding assistance.
If you would like to meet with someone on our pastoral staff for an appointment, please contact them directly. Their contact information is in the bulletin each Sunday, or see the staff directory on the website. Our staff does not offer long-term counseling, but is available to meet with you on a short-term basis, or during any kind of crisis.
