To make sure you are kept updated on what is happening at Church of the Big Wood during this period of “self-isolation,” and so are planning on sending out a weekly update.
Dear Church of the Big Wood Family,
Though the coronavirus has the doors of the church locked, we want you to know that our church continues to be committed to encouraging God’s people through worship and serving those in need our community - all the while pointing people to Jesus. With these in mind, here’s this weeks update:
Worship: Thank you to the many, both in our valley and from around the country, who let us know how meaningful it was to gather virtually for worship last week. We will again stream our service this Sunday March 29, at 9:30 AM. Joining us is simple - just go to our website (www.pcbw.org), click on the link, and you will be taken to the service. This week’s message will be entitled, Joy in Anxious Times (Philippians 4:4-9). Please pass the word!
If You Have a Need: As we said last week, there is a team in place to help with practical needs - shopping, getting prescriptions, meals - so please don’t hesitate to call (208 726-5123) or email(office@pcbw.org) the church if we can help. In addition, we want to remind you of the church’s Agape Fund, which has been set aside to provide financial assistance to those in need in our church and community. If you have a need, please go to our website and click the “Need Help?” tab on the upper right corner, and you will be taken to a site where you can confidentially let us know your need.
